PAAC USA IMX UPDATES AND CHANGES - October 9-10
Due to the amount of swimmers who entered the PAAC IMX Challenge this upcoming weekend, Oct 9-10, we were able to combine the morning and afternoon sessions on both Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, the 500 free and 400 IM will no longer be swum in separate sessions. The 500 free will follow the 9/10 200 IM on Saturday morning and the 400 IM will follow the 9/10 Butterfly on Sunday morning. There will no longer be a separate warmup for those events. The warmup/down pool will be open during the entire meet. For those swimmers entered in the 500 free and 400 IM, positive check-in is required. If you have swimmers only swimming in the 500 free or 400 IM please make sure they are aware of this change and give themselves plenty of time to check-in and warm-up. Below is important information concerning the timeline
Saturday: General Warm-up beginning @ 6:30am, Meet Start @ 8:00am
•Positive check-in for the 500 free will close @ 9am
•500 free will begin around 9:45am
Sunday: General Warm-up beginning @ 7:00am, Meet Start @ 8:30am
•Positive check-in for the 400 IM will close @ 9:30am
•400 IM will begin around 10:15am
Will will try to have a small 10 minute break before the 500 free and 400 IM, if time permits.
