How do I become a Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team Sponsor?
What do our Team Sponsors Do?
- Pay for the Team Shirts that all swimmers receive.
- Pay for team caps which all swimmers show their PFY Pride by wearing.
- Pay a large portions of our pool rentals, school security and school custodial fees for the meets we host.
- Purchase team equipment like pace clocks (hint, hint we are in current need of 2).
- Sponsors helped purchase lane lines for each of the outdoor pools (Lane lines run about $4,000 - $5,000 for a set.
- Sponsors paid for our new Dolphin Automated Stopwatch system,
- Purchase all of our paper products, computer equipment and day to day operating expense.
- Help to keep our team fees low. With out the sponsors we have and the fundraising we do our fees would be at least 2.5 times the price they are now.
Just think if every family was able to get a $400 "Silver Level" Sponsor we would be able to raise close to close to $32,000. We have over 80 families!

What are the benefits of being a Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team Sponsor?
- Advertising in invitation meet programs – we host 5-7 invitational meets throughout the
year. Over 200 swimmers plus their families attend these meets.
- Advertising in championship programs – Each year we host 1-2 Large Championship
meets. Over 400 swimmers plus their families attend these meets each year.
- Add on Team Website – Our team website has over 35,000 page views each month with over
475,000 individual visitors since 1999. These visitors include team families as well as
members of area other teams. This ad will link to your businesses web site and also help
your web sites search engine placement.
- Logo on Team Apparel – Excellent exposure for your business. Team members love to
wear the Piranhas’ team apparel.
- Approved Monthly solicitations to team members - Sponsors will supply post cards or letters for our team members about their business with postage and we will mail them to our team members.
- Sponsor Banner to be displayed at the YMCA Pool for other YMCA members to see and gain more exposure through out the YMCA general membership.
