The Pocono Family YMCA “Piranhas” Competitive Swimming Team operates under the direction of the Full-Time Competitive Swim Team Director Mike Wolbert. He is assisted by experienced and trained YMCA / USA certified assistant coaches. The Piranha coaching staff has a combined total of over 110 years of swimming and coaching experience. During the winter season the Piranhas field one boys' team competing in the B North Division and one girls' team competing in the B North Division in the Penn Del League with total team of over 110 swimmers. Meet Attendance Requirements: Must attend all League Meets, Championships, Districts, States and 2 PFY Hosted Invitational meets.
Performance Requirements: Winter Swim Team Swimmers must have successfully completed one of our Try-Out sessions or have been recommended by one of our Pre-Competitive or Take Your Mark coaches.

The Piranhas fall and winter home meets are held at The Lehman Intermediate School Pool in Bushkill PA. Practices are conducted at local school pools at various times, Stroudsburg Intermediate School, Lehman Intermediate School, Pocono Mountain High School West and the YMCA.
