Competitive Swim Teams
30 Years of Swimming Excellence - Since 1976!

The Pocono Family YMCA offers 4 Competitive Swim Programs:

Winter Swim Team - Season runs from the first week in October through the last week in February.

Spring Swim Team - Season runs from the first Monday in April until the week before the start of Summer Swim Team.

Summer Swim Team - Season runs from the week after local schools let out for the summer until the first Saturday in August.

USA Swimming Team - Seasons are during the Winter, Spring and Summer Swim Teams. (Must be a member of one of our Competitive Teams to join.)

Schedule a Try Out

Swim Meets: Offered in Spring, Summer and Winter Seasons

Performance Requirements: Competitive Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of free (front crawl stroke) with rotary breathing, 25 yards of backstroke & have good knowledge of either butterfly or breast stroke kick.

Swimming Requirements:
Swimmers should have completed one of our Developmental Swim Team sessions or successfully completed one our Fall or Spring Try Outs.
FLOATATION DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED
