(Click Here) ########################## Pocono Family YMCA Piranhas Swim Team Annual Swim Banquet and Awards Ceremony Sunday, April 18, 1:00 to 5:00 - Lake Naomi Club House Pasta Bar, Pizza and Salad ################### Directions to Swim Team Banquet at Lake Naomi Club House Sunday, April 18 @ 1:00 The directions are from the light at the entrance of the Pocono Mountain West High School *Continue west on Rt. 940 for 1.9 miles *Turn right on Miller Road. This is right before the Jubilee. *Travel .1 miles and the Club House will be on your left. There is a parking lot just past the club house and there is also one on the right side of the street right before the club house. See you there!!! ###################### Lots of fun and music with a DJ This year we would like to celebrate our success at PENN-DEL LEAGUE CHAMPS by awarding all the swimmers with a league champ trophy.   Unfortunately this was not budgeted for as we have not done this in the past however we hope that you will all support this idea by helping to offset the cost of the trophy as indicated below. We will only order for those responding as it has been our past experience that we have a lot of leftovers when we order for those who do not respond so please be sure to RESPOND IMMEDIATELY.  We don't want anyone left out but we also do not want to spend money on items that will never be used. WE NEED AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE SO WE CAN ORDER THE TROPHIES!!!WE NEED TO HAVE AN ACCURATE NUMBER BY NOON ON FRIDAY!!! The proceeds from the Marathon are used to support activities for our swimmers and also to benefit a cause near and dear to our hearts. Some of the past causes have included Spinabifida and Autism research. In past years this event has raised as much as $3500. We are going to raise funds and awareness for our local VNA / Hospice of Monroe County. If you would like to support two worthy causes at once, donations are welcome and can be sent to: Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team 809 Main Street      Stroudsburg PA 18360 The Marathon will be held at the Pocono Mountain West High School on  March 27 at 1:30PM. Please also bring your team T-shirt.  If you do not have a team T-shirt we have them to distribute to those who did not get one yet. Don't forget to brush your teeth and bring those BIG SMILES TOO! We will also have a parent meeting since a majority of families will be there. Even if you do not want individual pictures we want all swimmers present for the TEAM PICTURE!!! Make sure if you have sent your USA membership fee for $57.00 to Sonia Wolbert as soon as possible. Last year our team had 75 USA Swimming members x 57.00 is over a $4,000 bill which our team will not pay the fees for swimming with out payment. If you have signed up for a meet in 2010 and we do not have your meet entry fees or your USA membership for the entry due date your entries will not get processed. Collecting of meet entry fees is a constant issue. IF YOU SINGED UP FOR ANY USA MEETS IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY AND YOU OWE MEET ENTRY FEES AND / OR YOU HAVE NOT PAID FOR YOUR USA REGISTRATION YOUR ENTRIES WILL NOT GET PROCESS. What can you do to help?!? I am so glad you asked!!! First, We need to have a minimum of 101 people in order to get the best return possible. Coach Mike has placed a page with 2 flyers on it, on the website for you to print out to pass out to everyone you know.
